Hi all.

Any one use an A1 decoy light weight magnet are they any good and are the motors substantial enough to take dead birds. Only use one for laid barley seem a good idea less weight.

yep, had one for a few years now, no problems with it and motor seems strong enough.

Ok thanks.

Half the weight has got to be good.

Especially as it's nearly all barley everywhere this year due the weather.

Hello, just to add with my Magnet that came from A 1 i did find on soft ground the spikes did loosen up a bit due to the rotating so i found some flat bar and cut out a square the  same size as the middle spike and which i used like a Cross which helped stabilize the rotary

if its this model you are looking at (with adjustable motor height) I have never had any problems with it working loose even on light soil….https://www.a1decoy.co.uk/product/lightweight-pigeon-magnet-deal/
