Posted May 15, 20241 yr comment_4118260 This old girl was in a sorry state when i found her ,tatty beaten up old stock and some nasty rust on the metal work including some nasty pitting ,underneath all that seemed to me to be a gun that had seen little action ,so worth the price of some sand paper and oil .A bonus was the original sights still in place ,the spring was in good nick so just added new seals and ready for a new life ! For those who don't know HW 80 mk1 in .22 from the 1980s. Edited May 15, 20241 yr by holloway

May 15, 20241 yr Community Expert comment_4118314 Lovely I bought a doer upper a while ago and had the stock refinished and the gun reblued. I rebuilt it with a standard TBT kit and 18 ft lbs with the two power washers fitted. Removed those and 2 coils and back legal. I had one when I was 16 and they first came out in 1981 and with hindsight I think that was well over, no Chrony's back then. A true iconic classic. Well done for renovating it.
