Posted September 22, 2024Sep 22 comment_4151089 Can you buy scope ring liners tha are offset I cannot get enough windage left on my KT gun what do I do ? I have tried swopping the rings front to back
September 22, 2024Sep 22 Community Expert comment_4151094 Hi try putting the locking screws on the opposite side if that does not work you would need another set of mounts
September 23, 2024Sep 23 comment_4151103 Sportsmatch do them also Burris XTR rings have liners that give up to 40moa (if I remember correctly). But I'd go with the above option first.
September 23, 2024Sep 23 Author comment_4151120 Many thanks to you all I have now shimmed it in the oposite direction problem solved Dingo 45
September 23, 2024Sep 23 Community Expert comment_4151123 There must be something wrong if you need to shim a scope to get windage adjustment.

Doubt that the scope makes much difference OPP, scope mounts are manufactured to hold the scope tube central then the actual scope obviously has adjustment, I would centralise the scope, check the mounts by eye along the barrel, refit and see how far out the windage is, I would say anything over 3 inches left/right deviation @25 yards indicates a problem. Bent/misaligned barrel, damaged scope, etc. Edited September 23, 2024Sep 23 by bruno22rf
