in the co-op there is a freezer for rich retired pensioners...where they sell posh "hand made" nosh..(yeah i believe that).....they are about £3.50..to £4.50....

grabbed a lamb casserole....and some PSB off the cheap shelf

to be fair it wernt bad

put 2/3rds milk to 1/3rd single cream and chopped dried chives into a small frying pan....lay the smoked haddock in the mix (you can leave it for an hour or so...so the taste permeates the milk/cream mix.....then slowy bring it to a light boil ..and turn it off and let it cook for a few mins....spoon the hot liquid over the fish....

serve in a big soup dish with decent fluffy mash and add some of the liquid over the fish.sprinkle pepper of your chice.(dont throw the liquid away as you will want more)
