November 16, 2024Nov 16 Community Expert comment_4164646 Our taste buds are as different to chalk to cheese Simon and I know my tonight's tea will be vastly different to yours , but that is what make the world go round , for some reason I have never fancied any Indian food and I am sure you would get fed up with a lot of my meals that can and do look a little bit boring at times , but we do try and don't rely on take away's so we do have that situation in common .

I can't say I have ever Marrow but the mince , bread crumbs and the herbs would go done well , possibly in a burger or in a pie . We did have Pumpkin soup once for our shoots dinner , the pickers uppers were a bit late getting back so it was already cooling off , I had a bowl full but I ate my sandwiches first , time I started on the ( soup ) it had congealed and you needed a knife and fork instead of a spoon , in the end I used neither as it was horrible and only fit for the bin , word must have quickly got about as we have never had it since . Yes, I occasionally do them fried in garlic butter with a grating of Parmesan, but really only use them in ratatouille

MM one of my favourite foods (when i can get one ) is steamed marrow slices and mince and boiled tats...
