Would you have been quicker loading your gun if you weren't wearing boxing gloves?  :cool1:

Well done for getting out there and having a go, 18 at this time of year is commendable as is your gravity defying hide.   :good:

Well you were a lot braver person than me , the rain have been on and off all day and from around 3pm the sky broke and the rain eased up so out I go , had a good walk with using the hedge as a shelter and believe it or not it have now started to rain again just as I got home with a cold wind to go along with it .

A lot of people will sit about a lot longer than you did to get some shooting and ending up with 18 in the bag , even the big bag boys find it difficult this time of the year as you can see with the amount of posters telling us about there day , so keep up the good work and you will get a good day ( in your eyes ) before long

I can't switch off without a mention about your photo , I don't go to Essex very often as I would think I was in heaven to see the sky below ground level

Might as well be a white towel ??

He is made of sterner stuff than to chuck the towel in , isn't holding the White towel up  the international sign for surrendering ?

What category  weight would he be in as a Pigeon shooter , maybe Fly weight .:hmm: , it's been a long day

what's that cloth behind the net? Can you see through it?

Behind the net is camo hessian, which you cannot see through. The net in front is just to break up the outline. It worked for the sparrow hawk!

My net construction:  the base material is the camo hessian (from Canada, where it's called burlap), with the rough old net over the top to break it up. For a couple of inches above the hessian  is a lighterweight camo gauze material which I can peer through when I'm sitting down. (still wearing camo cap and face mask)
