From the BBC Website;

"It comes after BBC News sent a letter to Wallace’s representatives on Tuesday setting out allegations of inappropriate sexual comments by 13 people who worked with him across a range of shows over a 17-year period.

Broadcaster Kirsty Wark, who was a Celebrity MasterChef contestant in 2011, said he told "sexualised" jokes during filming.

Wallace's lawyers say it is entirely false that he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature.

Masterchef's production company Banijay UK has launched an investigation and said Wallace is co-operating.

The pub kitchens I worked in were full of all sorts of sexist jokes and innuendos,  just how it was, it wasn't an office or school.

The shop floor now isn't what it was, we've got young female Apprentices now and you have to watch what you say despite it being a mainly male environment ??

Even about 12 years ago we had a number of young female apprentice sparks and at that time they were the worst offenders a lot of the time.

At one time I was the only male working in an office with six female data analysts. The banter was just as inappropriate (more if anything). I overheard a lot of very smutty discussions.

As usual it will be trial by silence.  Nobody is saying what he has allegedly done, or when, or to who.

It will be like that dancer on strictly, when it all came out in the end he was more or less cleared and the woman making the allegations suddenly went very quiet.

Oh yeah they can be, but when it suits, that's the issue.

Sexualised language. Dear oh dear.

The women I worked in the fields with used to terrify me and the other lads, it wasn't language they would have hold of you.

I remember one lad we called Mark the Head, he did 50 yards across the field driving a tractor trying to get away from Rosie Spiller who had hold of his todger!

His nickname was unrelated, he had a big head but not so sure after that day. Considered normal and the girls were much worse than the lads.

From what I have read he came into the Masterchef studio naked with just a sock on his bits, bragged about his sex life and simulated a sex act with a woman staff member who had knelt down to clean his pants on set.  It may or may not be true but if it is he is a bit daft in this woke day and age.

If you can get investigated for just saying inappropriate things years ago then we are all potentially in trouble.

The world was a different place then. Look at some of the content the BBC was putting out then, compared to now.
