MM they are POTATOE scollops...with loads of vinegar on them.....crispy/crunchy on the outside and chip like in the middle

Now I'm liking the look of that very much. Was the batter nice and crispy ?, and how was the fish with no batter ?. I think that plate needed something green . I reckon mushy peas would have been perfect ?.
