Put some stuff together last night in the slow cooker.

Just portioned it out, my version of a Spanish style chicken stew.

I also put 4 portions of chicken and pasta and 4 more of chicken and potatoes.

That's one of the freezers full for a while.

When served up they will be eaten with some nice crusty bread to soak up all the goodness.

Went through the freezers and found the sweetcorn, I agree about bait though.

1. Search through freezers for anything that will work.

2. Throw garlic, marrowfat peas, bloody sweetcorn, onions, a couple of tins of plum tomatoes, potatoes and chicken in to the slow cooker.

3. Add whatever herbs and spices and some more water to just cover it all.

4. Turn slow cooker on HIGH.

5. Turn slow cooker down to low.

6. Leave alone.

7. Late last night turn slow cooker off.

8. Portion up for the freezer.

Fridge is going to look a bit bare once you move that lot to the freezer.

In the post.  :good:

Just my way of trying to simplify keeping lids and containers together.

Yes, it will look a bit bare, must go shopping and start all over again.
